The Research Design Service (RDS) is part of the NIHR and helps to prepare funding proposals for applied health or social care research.
RDS London provides invaluable guidance and support to health and social care researchers preparing grant applications for peer reviewed funding and their advice is free of charge. All funding applicants are advised to contact the RDS for advice. To submit a RDS request please complete the Support Request form.
RDS London can advise on all aspects of grant applications whether or not you are collaborating with PRIMENT CTU. Applicants will be matched with one or more advisors to offer personal support and will be offered further assistance for Patient and Public Involvement.
For studies collaborating with PRIMENT CTU, the RDS feedback will be provided by a PRIMENT CTU trialist, statistician and/or health economist to ensure the best use of resources. A request form must still be submitted through the RDS website.
You are welcome to come to any of our RDS London drop-in sessions from 11am to 1pm, usually on the first Tuesday of the month. Please see the RDS website for more information.
