Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE)
CAPS PPIE lead: Alice Burnand
CAPS PPIE deputy lead: Jemima Askew
Funded by the School for Primary Care Research (SPCR), we conduct a wide range of PPIE activities within the Department of Primary Care and Population Health and CAPS. Our strong and active ‘Experts by Experience’ network of public contributors makes significant contributions to our research studies, from shaping research priorities and questions to participating in delivery and dissemination. A dedicated group of staff (called the Public Involvement Group) within the department supports and manages the funding and PPIE activities. More information is available on our website.
Public Involvement Group members (PIG):
Richard Cable, Sarah McMullen, Jane Ward (Research Support Service), Hanady Hamdallah, and Pushpa Nair.
If you would like to be involved in PPIE within the department, please get in touch with Alice or Jemima (public.advisors@ucl.ac.uk).
