Research focusing on the health and development of children and adolescents and on how our work and family life relate to our health as we age.
Our current programme of research focuses on the health and development of children and adolescents and on how our work and family life relate to our health as we get older.
Much of this work is not only policy-relevant but policy-focused and our researchers regularly discuss and present their findings to people interested in developing evidence-based policies to improve the nation's health and well-being. Groups interested in our research include Government departments, parliamentary committees and groups, public sector organisations, charities and businesses, health and education professionals and the wider public.
As well as publishing in top quality journals, we produce a range of publications summarising our research in a non technical and accessible way set in a policy context. We also host policy seminars where anyone interested in our work can come along and listen to short presentations from researchers, comment on our work and make suggestions. There is also the opportunity to talk informally with researchers.
After each seminar, we publish transcripts and slides from the presentations. All these are freely available to download below.
