New Child of our Time blog examines why the NHS needs to do more to support ethnic minority mums and their babies
The ICLS Child of our Time blog has a new article from the authors of a recent review of the evidence around ethnic inequalities in healthcare.
The blog by Dr Dharmi Kapadia from the University of Manchester and Professor Sarah Salway from the University Sheffield discusses findings from Ethnic inequalities in healthcare: A rapid evidence review and focuses specifically on the evidence around the NHS healthcare provided to ethnic minority pregnant/new mothers and their babies.
The researchers outline their concerns that these groups of women and their children are being failed by the NHS and make a series of recommendations for change.
