About the Webinar

The PD-Care team at University College London is delighted to invite healthcare professionals, researchers, and those interested in supporting self-management in Parkinson’s to our upcoming webinar on Parkinson’s disease self-management. Our goal is to foster a collaborative environment where we can share insights, discuss effective strategies, and learn from each other’s experiences.

PD-Care was a five-year study programme, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and sponsored by Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The study aimed to develop and evaluate a self-management toolkit to personalise and improve care for people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) living at home.

Keynote Speakers

The webinar will bring together experts in Parkinson’s and self-management interventions from a range of different backgrounds to explore current strategies and recent developments in Parkinson’s self-management, to discuss findings and experiences on what works and does not work, the patient and carer experience, future directions, and digital solutions.

Join us to hear from renowned experts in Parkinson’s disease self-management, including Prof. Anette Schrag, Dr. Marjan Meinders, Prof. Annette Hand, Dr. Kate Greenwell, Prof. Camille Carroll, and Dr. Tiago Mestre. The webinar will be chaired by Prof. Kate Walters. We believe our speakers will provide a rich and diverse perspective for our attendees.
