ABSTRACT
An introductory look at multi state models. Multi-state models extend survival models. I will provide a look at the use statistics these models provide. Lastly, we look at the application of these models in modelling the natural history of cancer.

Dr Rikesh Bhatt
Research Fellow at Department of Applied of Health Research
Dr Rikesh Bhatt is a Research Fellow at the Department of Applied of Health Research at University College London.
Rikesh attained PhD in Mathematics from University of Leeds. Worked as a research associate in mathematical modelling in health economics at Bangor University. Since 2018, Rikesh has been working as a research fellow in applied statistics with a focus on modelling cancer progression in prostate cancer and breast cancer.
