Emma is a Senior Physiotherapist working in Homerton University Hospital with a special interest in returning people to function and participation after Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction surgery. She has worked with athletes at England Lacrosse (current post), West Ham United, Baku European Games, London Marathon, Great Britain Deaf Women's Football Team, the World Masters Tennis Championships and was on the medical team at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. She applied for the HENCEL/CLAHRC fellowship with a view to exploring if a clinically developed website/app could be useful to support longer term rehab plans such as that associated with Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction rehab. She is interested in developing this research toward a clinical doctoral fellowship application.
