Clare Goodman

Professor Claire Goodman – Hertfordshire Site Principal Investigator

Claire Goodman is Professor of Health Care Research at the Centre for Public health and Primary and Community Care (CRIPACC) at the University of Hertfordshire. She is the lead investigator for the Hertfordshire site of the HomeHealth Trial. She is a district nurse by background and leads a programme of work that focuses on older people living at home and in care homes.

Sarah Kalwarowsky

Sarah Kalwarowsky – Research Fellow

Sarah is a Canadian who has been living in the UK for 9 years. She has a MSc in Neuroscience and loves doing research that is designed to improve peoples’ lives. In her free time, Sarah likes to watch stand-up comedy and go for long walks in the countryside.

Liz Millbank

Liz’s background includes studying and working in a variety of sectors and settings which have included textile design, art therapy, social work, mental health, horticulture, countryside ranger, carer’s practitioner in an older people’s team and community worker with older people. She is driven to support people to make positive changes in their lives.

She volunteers with Mind and the Countryside Management Service. She has a passion for nature and wildlife, loves gardening, especially growing vegetables and practices Permaculture. She enjoys going for countryside walks, yoga and Pilates, she also enjoys art (looking at it and sometimes trying to create it!) and tasting cakes!

Ruth Killeen

Ruth Killeen

Hi, I am Ruth Killeen and am one of the Health Home Workers based in Hertfordshire.  I enjoy keeping active and regularly run, rock climb and do online yoga classes.  I'm also interested in languages and can speak Norwegian and some Spanish having lived in Norway and Spain. I am currently learning Mandarin.  My background is in Biology and Psychology.   I first completed a BSc (Hons) in Biology and an MSc in Immunology and Immunogenetics before doing my teacher training and teaching Science to pupils aged 11-18.  I then became fascinated by Psychology and completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology through the Open University.
