About the Speaker

Dr Li Sun

Research Fellow at UCL EPICentre

Dr Li Sun joined EPICentre, UCL, later 2019. Prior to that, funded by the Swiss NSF Early Postdoc. Mobility Fellowship, he was employed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, at the Creative Machines Lab, Columbia University (2018.03-2019.03). Between 2012.10 and 2017.09, Li was conducting his doctoral studies, under the supervision of Professor Bozidar Stojadinovic, at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. The research focus of Li lies in the disaster resilience of modern interlaced infrastructure systems. He is now managing to shed light on the future intelligent urban systems, by leveraging the latest advancement in the domain of AI, and computational complexity.
