Everyone is welcome at our monthly networking evenings. Be inspired by successful entrepreneurs and form lasting connections with peers that could help you start or grow your business.
First Mondays is a monthly entrepreneurial community networking event.
These events are designed to help you make useful business connections. You could find a potential co-founder, meet a mentor, identify sources of funding, or simply make new contacts to expand your network.
What to expect
At this event you'll meet like-minded people over refreshments at our innovation hub UCL BaseKX.
The evening will start with a short inspirational talk by a business leader, followed by in-depth conversations with your peers about your business idea. This could include under- and postgraduates, alumni, researchers, and PhD students, as well as those building their business outside the university. There'll be plenty of opportunities to ask for and give support to your fellow entrepreneurially-minded colleagues.
Who it's for
This event is open to all enterprising minds both inside and outside UCL. You may have a business idea or simply want to share knowledge and learn from others.
It's particularly relevant to UCL PhD research students who either have the seed of a business idea or are considering entrepreneurship. Equally, it would be useful for early career researchers looking for entrepreneurial support.
These events are free, but please register if you'd like to attend. For catering purposes, we would appreciate it if you only register if you will be able to attend on the night.
Dates and times
These networking events take place the first Monday of every month, from 6pm to 7:30pm.
The next events will take place on:
UCL BaseKX, 103c Camley Street, London, N1C 4PF
