Who it’s for
This workshop is open to students, staff and recent graduates (within 2 years of graduating) with an interest in freelancing, setting up a business, psychology, wellbeing and mindset.
What you’ll learn
In this workshop, you’ll learn about:
- key personality traits for succeeding as a freelancer
- emotional and mental challenges involved in being a freelancer
- common pitfalls to expect when running your own side hustle or business
- principles from psychology and neuroscience to negotiate the challenges
- resilience, managing stress and emotional regulation
- practical tools to help combat challenges including rejection, imposter syndrome and loneliness
About the tutor
Miriam Kenny-Williams is a freelance coach and education consultant. Miriam uses embodied listening and empathy to gain a deep understanding of her client’s unique talents, values and inner voice. Reflecting this back then helps them to gain the clarity they need to move beyond their limiting beliefs and create the exceptional, radiant and fulfilling lives they were destined to live.
