Open mic pitch session

Practise pitching your entrepreneurial ideas in this friendly and supportive open mic setting.

Overview

Want to perfect pitching your idea to others? Curious about what others in the UCL community are working on?

Our Open mic pitch sessions are your chance to pitch in a friendly, supportive environment, get peer-to-peer feedback, and spark valuable collaborations.

Whether you’re testing the potential of your ideas or setting up an entrepreneurial venture, this is the place to practise your pitch, test your message, and receive advice. It’s also a good opportunity to connect with other aspiring UCL entrepreneurs and build your network.

This is not a competition. It’s an open, creative space to refine your storytelling and confidence as an entrepreneur. You’ll get instant feedback from peers and the entrepreneurship team and leave with ideas to take your venture to the next stage.

For: All students, staff and recent graduates
Location: UCL BaseKX, 103c Camley Street, London N1C 4PF
Duration: 3 hours
Format: Facilitated peer-to-peer support

Who it’s for

This session is open to all UCL students, staff, and alumni who graduated from UCL within the past 2 years.

No previous pitching experience is needed – just bring your idea, enthusiasm and pitch deck. You can pitch solo or as part of a team.

You’re welcome to pitch whether you have a very early idea you want to test, or have (or want to set up) a business, side hustle or not-for-profit venture.

You’re also welcome to come along purely as an audience member and join in the feedback and networking.
