Learn about the Advanced Research Invention Agency (ARIA) and opportunities for UCL staff to work with this new agency.
ARIA is a new funding agency, which has been set up to “unlock scientific and technological breakthroughs that benefit everyone.”
On 30 April 2024, we hosted a town hall event with ARIA, which explored the agency's approach to funding and opportunities for UCL staff to work with the agency.
The event was opened by Professor Peter Munro, Vice Dean Research, UCL Faculty of Engineering Sciences
Speakers from ARIA included:
- Pippy James, Chief Product Officer, on ARIA’s approach to funding breakthroughs
- Antonia Jenkinson, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer, on ARIA’s approach to funding
- Jacques Carolan, Programme Director, on precision neurotechnologies for human therapeutics
These talks were followed by a moderated panel discussion.
