New short course administration system launching later in 2019
12 February 2019
The new system will save short course administrators time, help with reporting, and ensure a consistent experience for people booking on a UCL short course.
Short Course Support (formerly Life Learning) are driving the project to implement the new short course administration system, which will integrate with UCL's short courses website.
The system will save course administrators time by providing functions such as:
- upfront payment collection
- automated communications
- waiting lists
- automatic post-course evaluation
In addition, reporting functionality will allow course leads to review their course performance against different criteria.
Any UCL department offering short courses will be able to use the system, which will become the official solution for the administration of short courses at UCL.
You’ll be able to use the system for any existing course and any new courses that have been approved for development through the Course Initiation Questionnaire (CIQ).
If you’re interested in participating in the pilot of the new system, please email the Short Course Support team at lifelearning@ucl.ac.uk
