Celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 2018 at UCL

Global Entrepreneurship Week (12 to 18 November 2018) is a celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. 

This year, UCL is celebrating by hosting a range of exciting and inspiring events. At these free events you’ll be able to hear from inspirational entrepreneurs as they share their entrepreneurial journeys so far, see and talk to UCL’s entrepreneurial talent, build on your own business ideas, and network with like-minded peers.

Celebration launch event

Monday, 12 November, 6 to 8.30pm
At our launch event you'll hear from a panel of guest entrepreneurs, including Charly Lester, co-founder of the over 50’s dating app Lumen, and UCL alumnus Jacob Wedderburn-Day, CEO and co-founder of travel tech startup, Stasher. It’ll also be a fantastic opportunity for networking. 

UCL entrepreneurship showcase

Wednesday, 14 November, 5:30 to 8.30pm
Come to our showcase event and meet some of UCL’s innovative entrepreneurs and startups. You’ll also be able to discuss the potential of your own business idea with our Business Advisors.

Women in enterprise

Thursday, 15 November, 6 to 8.30pm
Join us in celebrating the achievements of female entrepreneurs. At this event a panel female entrepreneurs, including Alysia Silberg, General Partner at Street Global Venture Capital and UN Women Global Champion, will share their stories and experiences.

The Mayor’s Entrepreneur Competition: Ideation boot camp

Saturday 17 November, 10am to 9pm
This workshop is for UCL students and recent graduates who are interested in entering the Mayor’s Entrepreneur Competition. You'll find out more about the competition, form a team (if you don't already have one), and develop your business idea ready to enter the competition.
