Overview

Get ready to push the boundaries of innovation at this collaborative hackathon designed to bring ideas to life.

You’ll work in interdisciplinary teams to explore challenges, experiment with AI tools and build Minimum Viable Prototypes (MVPs) in just one afternoon.

Mentors from Google and UCL will support you throughout with guidance on ideation, AI integration and rapid prototyping.

Who it’s for

This event is open to UCL students  from any discipline. Whether you study engineering, arts, business, social sciences or something entirely different, your perspective matters.

You do not need prior experience with AI or coding to take part, just curiosity, creativity and a drive to build something impactful.

What to expect

During the hackathon, you will:

  • form interdisciplinary teams to explore real-world problems
  • learn how to apply Gemini AI to your ideas
  • build MVPs using Google Cloud, AI tools, mockups or storyboards
  • receive support from mentors throughout
  • pitch your final prototype to a panel of judges and have a chance to win a prize
