Overview
This event is designed to bridge the gap between academic innovation at UCL and the practical needs of the UK video games industry.
With a special focus on the UK accessibility landscape, it will bring together UCL researchers, studio heads, game designers, and advocacy groups to move beyond dialogue and establish tangible, research-to-industry partnerships.

This event is open to:
- UCL academics, researchers and doctoral students from any discipline
- SMEs, startups and other companies working in gaming
- Industry experts, and advocacy and policy professionals interested in game accessibility

This event will include:
- presentations from industry and academics on game accessibility
- an opportunity to learn about the UCL Game Accessibility Innovation Network
- networking opportunities

This event is organised by UCL Innovation & Enterprise in collaboration with the UCL CenTraS Game Lab. UCL’s Centre for Translation Studies (CenTraS) is a leading UK hub for interdisciplinary research in translation, with strengths spanning creative industries, education, technology, and emerging areas such as video game localisation and accessibility.
