Resilience and mindset training for side hustlers, freelancers and entrepreneurs

Overview

This workshop for freelancers and entrepreneurs will help you:

• cultivate the right mindset to thrive in the competitive work of freelancing
• embrace the power of a positive mindset and equip yourself with tools to overcome obstacles
• gain valuable insights and practical tips for a more successful and fulfilling career

Who it’s for

This workshop is open to students, staff and recent graduates (within 2 years of graduating) with an interest in freelancing, setting up a business, psychology, wellbeing and mindset.

What you'll learn

In this workshop, you’ll learn about:

• key personality traits for succeeding as a freelancer
• emotional and mental challenges involved in being a freelancer
• common pitfalls to expect when running your own side hustle or business 
• principles from psychology and neuroscience to negotiate the challenges
• resilience, managing stress and emotional regulation
• practical tools to help combat challenges including rejection, imposter syndrome and loneliness  

About the tutor

Miriam Kenny-Williams is a freelance coach and education consultant. Miriam uses embodied listening and empathy to gain a deep understanding of her client’s unique talents, values and inner voice. Reflecting this back then helps them to gain the clarity they need to move beyond their limiting beliefs and create the exceptional, radiant and fulfilling lives they were destined to live.
