Entrepreneurial skills are often taken for granted and some of us struggle to distinguish them.

This free online workshop will help you understand what your entrepreneurial skills are and how you can communicate them in your CV.

It will help you look at your future career through an entrepreneurial lens, and stand out in a competitive job market.

This event is being run by the Women in Enterprise Network, which aims to help more women start and grow a business.

Who it’s for

This event is open to UCL students, staff and graduates, and the wider public.

You don't need to be a member of the Women in Enterprise Network to attend.

What to expect

This one-hour online workshop will cover:

  • what we mean by 'entrepreneurial skills'
  • how you can develop these skills
  • why employers value entrepreneurial employees

About the speaker

After a decade of academic research in the field of neuroscience, Dr Ruth Weir set her sights on new challenges. As an Entrepreneurship Advisor at UCL, Ruth encourages students to recognise, develop and promote their entrepreneurial skills, equipping them with the tools and mindset to thrive in their future. She successfully leads the SPERO programme at UCL, a unique entrepreneurship training programme for doctoral students.
