What to expect
The day will start at UCL BaseKX with refreshments and a talk from one of our Hatchery startup companies.
We'll then all jump on board a London bus, visiting some of the top businesses in central and east London. You'll hear inspirational talks about the stories of these businesses, view the building and facilities that encourage businesses to thrive, and receive top tips on how to take your idea to the next level.
On the journey you'll meet fellow UCL students who have an interest in entrepreneurship. You'll share ideas, hear from inspirational speakers and practise your elevation pitch. Masterclasses will be held on the bus which will help you to develop your own pitch.
The day ends at Plexal, a coworking space and innovation centre in east London. There'll be time for networking and the team with the best pitch from each bus will compete with the other universities.
