Winners of the eighth annual UCL Awards for Enterprise were announced on Wednesday 10th June, at a ceremony held at UCL Advances’ new incubator space for product and creative businesses at King’s Cross, BASE KX.
The awards recognise the efforts and accomplishments of UCL’s most innovative and entrepreneurial staff, students, graduates and partner organisations in furthering enterprise and entrepreneurship at UCL

Turning used coffee grounds into fuel, airmiles for cyclists and toys for children suffering from depression were at the forefront of Britain's biggest business idea competition.
A firm which turns coffee beans into fuel has won a coveted small business competition.
London-based start-up Bio-Beans beat off nearly 50 other early stage businesses to win the annual The Pitch Live event on Wednesday.
Bio-Bean, a UCL student business, won a 2013 UCL Bright Ideas Award. Watch Bio-Bean's video
