UCL’s knowledge exchange and innovation will transform the world around us, as we act as a convenor to partners across our London campuses, support economic growth and regeneration, and mobilise activity across both the UK and Internationally, engaging with UCL’s broad network of partners to scale the reach of our knowledge and innovation.
Ecosystems for excellence
We will leverage UCL’s knowledge, expertise and resource to deliver impact across London, the UK and globally.
Through mutually responsible partnerships, we will support regional and national growth and regeneration while addressing social and economic inequalities.
We will collaborate with regional councils, communities and businesses large and small, working to facilitate successful innovation ecosystems.
These ecosystems will generate solutions to localised challenges, benefiting the lives, health, and economy of London and beyond.
Incubation and acceleration
We will be a hub for novel, transformative ideas, supporting and growing UCL’s student, graduate and staff startups and spinouts and developing opportunities to connect across London’s innovation spaces, networks, and SMEs.
We will accelerate the creation of ideas and activity, ensuring that the ventures we support have access to appropriate spaces and programmes that nurture and sustain new and growing enterprises.
This will serve to bolster both the local and national economies while extending our impact internationally.
Mobilising knowledge and expertise
We will engage with UCL’s growing network of local, national and global partners to stimulate knowledge exchange and identify and support the optimal routes to create impact.
Utilising our unique position and expertise, we will engage with government to influence policy and innovation agendas, employing our knowledge and convening power to inform change.
We will encourage knowledge exchange with our local communities through co-creation and co-production, broadening the reach and scale of impact of UCL’s knowledge and expertise and advancing solutions to shared challenges.
