Jane Botros

Director of Engagement & Communications

Jane helps UCL’s community engage in innovation and enterprise activities. She’s also building UCL’s reputation as one of the leading universities in the country at translating its knowledge and know-how externally.

Jane has spent over 20 years working in communications in both the public and private sectors. Before joining UCL she was on the Board of PizzaExpress as Communications Director, successfully managing the brand through the 2008 recession and its later sale to private equity firm Hony Capital.

She was also part of the team that set up Virgin Unite, Virgin’s charitable foundation, leading award-winning campaigns that collaborated for a better world. Before this, Jane managed the PR for Pret A Manger, building the brand both nationally and internationally, at a time of great growth for the business.
