The Jill Dando Institute (JDI), our research arm, brings together 30 research groups, pioneering crime science approaches and developing new security technologies in custom-built spaces such as the UCL Forensic Interpretation Lab, the Crime Science VR Projects Lab, the IoT Lab (Internet of Things) and the JDI Research Lab (Secure Data Facility).
Industry partnerships and connections. We are proud to work in partnership with world leaders across law enforcement and other governmental agencies. We’ve collaborated on many successful initiatives, including a hot spot policing programme that’s reducing robberies and theft across 13 cities in Uruguay, Argentina and Mexico.
