Engineering Foundation Year bursaries

We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of bursaries to students undertaking the Engineering Foundation Year in the 2025/2026 academic year. The funding for seven of these bursaries has been donated by Avanade. 

Key information

Value: £6,000.

To be used on: Tuition fees for the UCL Engineering Foundation Year.

Available to: Prospective undergraduate students who have accepted an offer to study a programme with Integrated Foundation Year at UCL Engineering, who will undertake the Engineering Foundation Year starting September 2025.

Level: Undergraduate (Engineering Foundation Year).

Selection criteria: Financial need.

Note: Students who have accepted an offer for Computer Science BSc/MEng with Integrated Foundation Year will be prioritised for the seven bursaries funded by Avanade.

Applications: Current offer-holders for an undergraduate programme with Integrated Foundation Year at UCL Engineering will be asked via email to complete a bursary application form if they wish to apply for one of the Engineering Foundation Year bursaries. The email will be sent by the Engineering Foundation Year team.

Opening and closing dates: Opens early June and closes mid-July.
