Founded in 1826 in the heart of London, UCL is London's leading multidisciplinary university, with more than 16,000 staff and 50,000 students from 150 different countries.
The Policy Impact Unit (PIU) provides professional policy engagement expertise and skills to help increase the use of research-based evidence by policymakers.
Good policy is informed by good evidence. The Policy Impact Unit collaborates with researchers in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences (FES) at UCL to design bespoke policy engagement strategies that have real impact. Using innovative and adaptive approaches, the PIU makes policy engagement accessible for researchers and increases the use of FES research in the policymaking process.
We are currently working with researchers from across UCL's Faculty of Engineering Sciences and beyond and here you will find a list of our current projects and publications.
