Countering Extremist Crime and Terrorism MSc
This MSc equips students with the knowledge, skills, and evidence-based methods to understand, analyse, prevent, disrupt, and detect extremist crime and terrorism.

Crime and Forensic Science MSc
This MSc equips students with advanced forensic science skills to investigate, analyse & solve crimes using evidence-based methods.

Crime Science MSc
This MSc and its four routes provide students with a thorough understanding of how science and scientifically based techniques can deliver immediate and sustainable reductions in crime.

Policing MSc
This MSc teaches evidence-based policing strategies to tackle organised crime, terrorism, cybercrime, and security threats in diverse communities.

Our courses are available for on campus study and as a distance learning online option (with the exception of the MSc Crime and Forensic Science, which can only be taken as a campus-based, full-time course).

Career prospects
Many of our graduates have gone on to successful careers in the field of crime prevention and detection for public sector employers such as the Home Office, police and Ministry of Defence, or private sector companies with a crime prevention and community safety focus. Other graduates go on to further doctoral research.

Postgraduate diploma
A diploma is suitable for you if you do not want to complete a research dissertation but do want to learn all the essential taught material to enhance your understanding of crime and security problems, their analysis and prevention.
These are available as a campus course or as a distance learning online option for either of the Countering Extremist Crime and Terrorism degree or the Crime Science degree.
