Meet the team who work at UCL’s SWIFT (Smart, Whole-process, Integrated, Flexible Technologies) facilities
Practical activities at SWIFT are led by Dr Leonardo Rios, who serves as the dedicated lead and primary point of contact. The team also includes Dr GM, YA and Dr OP , supported by academic experts from the department who provide specialised consultancy in key areas.
Project safety evaluations are managed by Dr Brian O’Sullivan, ensuring all work complies with rigorous safety standards. Additionally, a dedicated Project Officer is available to efficiently handle contracts and agreements, facilitating smooth project progression.
There is further support from up to 25 different academics and researchers with expertise ranging from biocatalysis, enzyme discovery & characterisation, waste valorisation to chemometrics and life cycle analysis. (potentially add in a downloadable list)
