Artificial intelligence is developing at an incredible pace, and so are discussions about the role it could play in the future of healthcare. Simultaneously, the NHS 10-Year Plan identifies cancer prevention and early detection as national priorities, alongside significant investment in this area.
The UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering and the UCL Policy Impact Unit brought together clinicians, researchers, policymakers and patient voices to examine what AI could mean for cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
