Many congratulations to our third-year chemical engineering students: Emilie Jugand, Diego Izquierdo Gonzalez, Ploy Patra-Yanan, Mohammed Alhashem and Angad Brar, who worked together as a team (EcoTech Consulting) on the design project and won the 2024-25 Design Project Team Award.
The award, which is sponsored by the department, at £100 per team member, is presented to the group who can demonstrate that they have been a highly functional team, able to encourage each other and capable of overcoming difficulties and/or conflicts while completing the design project. Team EcoTech Consulting, together with other teams, entered the competition by submitting an essay demonstrating how well they worked as a team. They were declared winners by a departmental panel and the students have been presented with their certificates.
This award underpins the importance of engineers working effectively within a team. Very many congratulations to the team once again!
