The week featured a range activities, including the IEL 5-year Seminar, an Academic Workshop with STEaPP Community, meetings with UCL IoE’s Centre for Engineering Education (CEE), the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the Rwanda High Commission in the UK. These engagements focused on knowledge exchange, network building, and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
As part of the visit, Prof Kagwesage and Dr Yongabo participated as Guest Speakers during an SDG-themed joint class for STEaPP Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) students from three routes: Climate, Innovation and Sustainability Policy (CISP), Development, Technology and Innovation Policy (DTIP), and Health, Technology and Public policy (HTPP).
The visit concluded on a high note, with promising avenues for further collaborations and partnerships between UCL, UR and RP, both through and beyond IEL. For more about the IEL, please visit https://www.ucl.ac.uk/steapp/research/21st-century-decision-making/innovation-ecosystems-laboratory
