Students often cite our site visits to relevant, leading industrial companies as a key experience as part of their degrees. They offer our students a unique, first-hand look into the real-world environment of advanced therapy manufacturing. From observing how large-scale production of gene therapy vectors is carried out to understanding the critical infrastructure and protocols required for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, students gained invaluable insights into the operational and regulatory aspects underpinning the development of cutting-edge therapies.

These experiences enhanced their academic learning and gave them a clearer perspective on career pathways within the biomanufacturing and advanced therapies sector.

We want to thank all the companies that gave their time and expertise to meet our students and give such valuable insight into their work.
