Emma presented her winning poster titled “EV-olution of Extracellular Vesicle Isolation” at the BIA conference in Liverpool in November. Emma also won Roosterbio Development Award 2024, which you can read about below.
Emma graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences degree with a year in industry from the University of Leeds (BSc IND). After graduation she and worked as a research scientist at Astrea Bioseparations before starting her Engineering Doctorate (EngD) at UCL Biochemical Engineering. Her EngD is titled “Nanofiber-based Adsorbent to Address Extracellular Vesicle Subpopulation Isolation” and is sponsored by Astrea Bioseparations. Her supervisors are Prof. Dan Bracewell and Dr Bernice Wright.
