We are delighted to announce that Prof Peter Munro has been appointed as Vice-Dean for Research for the Faculty of Engineering for a period of three-years.
As a member of the Advanced X-Ray Imaging Group (AXIm), Peter works on novel optical and x-ray imaging techniques, including optical elastography and x-ray phase imaging, applied largely to cancer imaging. He recently held a Royal Society University Research Fellowship and currently serves as the Med Phys Research Director. Peter’s vision for the role includes strengthening our engagement with industry and enhancing career prospects for early career researchers.
"I’m very pleased to take on the role of Vice Dean Research and to help UCL Engineering Sciences continue to lead across an increasingly broad range of disciplines. Engineering has a truly impressive array of established strengths and new opportunities for growth which makes this role particularly exciting. I am looking forward to working with colleagues to harness these strengths and opportunities to help UCL Engineering change the world."
