People are at the heart of engineering, both the people who are engineers and the people who are looking for the amazing, innovative, thoughtful solutions that engineers provide. To get to the best solutions for societies around the world - and the planet - we need engineers to collaborate and work with people from many different backgrounds and experiences. Engineering education of course is vital; it is even more vital that it is provided to diverse groups of people. Different perspectives must be part of finding those brilliant scientific, beautifully designed solutions to the many pressing global challenges that we face. People are at the heart of engineering; both the people who are engineers and the people who are looking for the amazing, innovative, thoughtful solutions that engineers provide. To get to the best solutions for societies around the world - and the planet - we need engineers to collaborate and work with people from many different backgrounds and experiences. Engineering education of course is vital; it is even more vital that it is provided to diverse groups of people.Different perspectives must be part of finding those brilliant scientific, beautifully designed solutions to the many pressing global challenges that we face.
