Shujie Pan is one of UCL's success stories, having commenced her higher education with EEE at undergraduate level in 2014.
On passing her PhD, Shujie stated:
I have been studying at UCL EEE since I was an undergraduate. It was the strong academic atmosphere and friendly staff that I experienced during my early years that made me determined to pursue my PhD.
Shujie's research belongs to the field of photonics, which focuses on developing high-performance mode-locked laser-based optical frequency combs.
