At the well-attended event, Dr Payam Malek presented an overview of Water & Wastewater Treatment. The presentation covered wastewater treatment cycles, sludge treatment and specialised treatment processes such as floatation, membrane separation and ionic transfer processes.
Module coordinator Dr Sudeshna Basu said, "this will help students to consider the technologies in the context of their industrial applications for different purposes such as desalination and green hydrogen production."
