New X-Ray technique could transform how we see things 

Work from the AXIm research group, lead by Professor Alessandro Olivo, are working on new x-ray technology to detect cancerous tumours earlier and more accurately, see cartilage and other soft tissues which are invisible to conventional x-rays, and provide more detailed screening for weapons and bombs in security scanners.
