UCell@The Castle Climbing Centre

On 24th may 2019 UCell headed to the Castle Climbing Centre in Finsbury Park to take part in the summer sustainability fair hosted by PPL PWR and Make Your Own Shift. The event began with demonstrations where we used our hydrogen racer demo kits and had a chance to show off our new hand battery. We held a competition throughout the day to see who was the most conductive – with Lizzie from UCL winning!

We also had the Toyota Mirai outside which led to many thought-provoking discussions with people of all ages and was a great way of demonstrating fuel cells in action for everyday life. The event was rounded off with talks and a panel discussion from lots of interesting people including a meditation in the workplace expert, Greenpeace Camden, PPL PWR and our very own Zahra Rana! It was a great day and we look forward to more events like this in the future!
