A report has just been released by MIT which identifies UCL Engineering as one of four emerging global leaders in engineering education. The report, which draws on the views of engineering educators worldwide, is testament to the extraordinary commitment that has been shown across the faculty of engineering in the development and implementation of the Integrated Engineering Programme. In particular, the case study of UCL identifies the challenges of implementing such a programme in an established, research-intensive university. We are delighted at this recognition and the opportunities that it presents to further develop and promote the connected curriculum model both internally and with external partners.
