2017 CNIE Shimadzu Workshop

We are pleased to announce our next CNIE workshop organised by Han Wu (CNIE) and Carmel Ward (Shimadzu) on GC (MS) technique on 20th Oct, 2017.

The GC workshop is designed for CNIE users but open to public. Everyone working on GC (GCMS) is warmly invited to join our popular GC day at Shimadzu head office in Milton Keynes. This workshop provides essential trainings for GC users. It covers theory, experimental techniques, tutorial and troubleshooting. It will provide a platform for CNIE user group and other GC groups to exchange tips and ideas.

Registration is free and compulsory via Eventbrite.

First 10 registrations will receive free return train tickets between London and Milton Keynes. Tea, coffee, buffet lunch and transport between Milton Keynes train station and Shimadzu head office will be provided free of charge to everyone who registered on Eventbrite.

12:30-13:30 Buffet Lunch

13:30-14:30 Basic Principles of Mass Spectroscopy

14:30 -15:30 Headspace and SPME Analysis

15:30-16:15 GC Q&A and troubleshooting

16:15 -16:30 Close and goodie bags
