UCL Chemical Engineering scoops seven prizes at ChemEngDayUK 2017

On 27-28 March 2017, Birmingham University hosted ChemEngDayUK 2017, which welcomed leading UK Chemical Engineering academics, industry partners and international guests, to discuss developments and innovations towards a more sustainable future.

At the ChemEngDayUK 2017 Awards Ceremony, UCL Chemical Engineering showcased their research and won more than half of all prizes on offer, scooping seven awards in total.

Matthew Darby (PhD student with Michail Stamatakis) for the Best Poster of ChemEngDay UK 2017
Michele Lynch (PhD student with Marc-Olivier Coppens) for the Best Poster in the theme “Chemical Engineering at Interface”
Kaiqiao Wu (PhD student with Marc-Olivier Coppens) for the Best Poster in the theme “Chemical Engineering Fundamentals”
Conor Waldram (PhD student with Asterios Gavriilidis) for the best 3-minute Research Highlight Talk, on Catalysis and Sustainable Green Chemistry
Matthew Chin (PhD student with Marc-Olivier Coppens and Richard Day) for the Best Poster in the theme “Biological Engineering”
Michaela Pollock (Teaching Fellow, with Eva Sorensen) for the Best Poster in the theme “Education and Training”
