On 16-17 of March, Dr. Federico Galvanin and Dr Stefan Guldin ran a Design of experiments for experimentalists (DoE) two-day workshop, focused on DoE for the development of regression models (statistical “black-box” DoE) or deterministic models (Model- based Design of Experiments, MBDoE).
Each day covered a morning session where keynote speakers from different backgrounds illustrated the theoretical aspects of the topic.
Practical sessions took place in the afternoon, where examples were provided for the easy implementation of DoE in a number of case studies by using state-of-the-art simulation software.

The workshop was open to UCL post-graduate students, researchers and enthusiastic researchers who wanted to learn more on DoE.
