Biochemical Engineering Collaborators Synthace Awarded Technology Pioneer by WEF

Using Antha, Synthace’s powerful software and operating system, biologists around the world can dramatically improve, streamline and run biological experimentation and manufacturing processes, helping turn biodesigns into desperately needed new solutions to heal, feed and fuel the growing world population. 

The company, spun out of University College London, is already serving customers across the pharmaceutical, agriscience and industrial biotechnology industries and is the only UK company to have been selected.The UCL Department of Biochemical Engineering is proud to be long-term collaborators of Synthace, the pioneering UK based company that provides next generation software and processes to exponentially improve productivity in bioscience. This June it was named as one of the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers, a selection of the world’s most innovative companies. 

Synthace was chosen by a professional jury among hundreds of candidates as one of the 30 selected companies. Thanks to its selection, it will have access to an influential and sought-after business and political network worldwide. Tim Fell, Synthace’s Chief Executive Officer, participated in the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, and many Technology Pioneers will also participate in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2017 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.
