Professor Cornish was Ramsay Memorial Professor of Chemical Engineering and Head of Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at University College London between 1990 and 1996. He passed away peacefully on 2nd January 2016. The Department of Chemical Engineering passes its sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Service to be held at Croydon Crematorium, East Chapel, Tuesday 26th January 2016, 2.15 p.m. Donations may be made in Alan's memory to The Royal Marsden, Sutton c/o Francis Chappell & Sons, 1 Lower Addiscombe Road, CR0 6PQ.
