The Summer Challenge 'Engineering Solutions from Nature', planned in collaboration with the UCL Office of Widening Participation, is now at its halfway point. The Summer Challenge consists of a 6-weeks program, during which 20 highly qualified Year 12 students are involved in a research project. This year's theme is 'Nature-Inspired Power Generation'. The students in week 2 visited the Unit Operations laboratory in the Chem Eng Department, and in week 3 visited the 'Institute of Making'. Their project is due on week 6.
