The PhD programme involves 3–4 years (more for part time students) of original research supervised by a senior member of the Department. This degree is focused on a multi-disciplinary subject at the interface of physics, engineering, life sciences and computer science.
All students will be housed within one of our research groups, where two supervisors are responsible for their students' training and pathway to completing their PhD across four years of study.
