While we can identify and analyse ever-smaller amounts of trace evidence, very little is known about the human decision-making all along the forensic science process from crime scene to courtroom. Our research seeks to understand and improve decision-making to support the justice system with more accurate and robust forensic science.

Our research focuses on how human bones can be effectively used in forensic reconstructions, both with the application of new technology and by discovering new insights into the interpretation of bone evidence.
