AI and its impact on the global health system

How do we help solve some of the big healthcare problems facing the global community today? And how do we do it with AI?

The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and UCL Centre for Digital Public Health in Emergencies (the new WHO Collaborating Centre for Digital Public Health and Pandemic Preparedness) is bringing together global partners (like the WHO), researchers, clinicians, engineer and policymakers to discuss the problems facing the global community. More importantly, we want to come up with long-lasting solutions. 

We’ll be showcasing real world case studies where collaborative work has had lasting change, provide a platform to create national and international partnerships and we’ll be facilitating an interactive sandpit style workshop to identify unmet healthcare needs and find solutions to them. We’ll also be looking at the funding landscape so you have the capital to enact change. 

This event is ideal for early career researchers, senior academics, industry partners, funders and global health stakeholders interested in AI, health innovation and international collaboration.
