From Process to Plate: Progressing Cellular Agriculture Products to the Market
The 2nd annual CARMA Conference. A one-day, in-person event in central London for all those interested in innovation and advancement in the field of cellular agriculture manufacturing.

UCL Biochemical Engineering is proud to be a partner of the CARMA Hub. This conference will provide opportunities for the wider community to submit abstracts for invited oral and poster presentations and for companies to book trade stands at the event.
The meeting will feature an update on the EPSRC-funded CARMA project with a number of more detailed presentations from work package leads.
An interactive workshop session will explore the alignment of manufacturing, sustainability and regulatory issues with feedback to date from the CARMA citizen and stakeholder panels. To set the scene for the workshop session we are delighted to announce our first keynote speaker, Professor Robin May, Chief Scientific Advisor of the Food Standards Agency, who will present on ‘Regulating Innovation: Cell Cultivated Products Sandbox’.
